Sandra Lugo
TRUSTEE
Sandra has been an educator for over 30 years, previously with NYC Department of Education as a Bilingual Special Education and Reading Recovery leader and as a Dual Language Coordinator, English Language Coordinator, Data Specialist, and Test Coordinator.
She was an Adjunct Professor at NYU, a Language Resource Specialist with NYU Regional Bilingual Education Resource Network and Principal in an Icahn Charter School.
Ms. Lugo holds a bachelor’s degree from Mercy College in Criminal Justice/Business Administration, a Master’s degree from Hofstra University in Education/Bilingual Education, a Master’s degree from Mercy College in School Building Leadership, and holds multiple certifications from the NYS Department of Education.
